In terms of practicing I suggest you just constantly get out and expose yourself to opportunities.

It's less stressful that way, rather then going out for a the sole purpose of getting some.

I plan on going out this summer for the sole purpose of practicing cold approach. I have always been terrible at it

Do you ever go out for the sole purpose of cold approach? I don't know why but the AA is just overwhelming. If I have a structured plan it almost makes it worse
